Australian credit card

A friend recently shared his flight booking experience with me, triggering a memory of another friend boasting about exchanging credit card points for a complimentary flight ticket. Beyond this, various merchants accept credit card cashback, offering two distinct benefits: “cash back” and Quantas points rewards.

This prompted my curiosity about whether Australian credit cards live up to their claims. The credit card business model encourages pre-consumption, potentially surpassing actual spending compared to debit cards, resulting in interest income.

In China, using a credit card proves advantageous. There are no incurred costs such as monthly fees or interest, provided the debt is settled promptly. This approach offers dual benefits: accruing points and leveraging them in the international market with VISA or Mastercard to avoid currency conversion.

But be careful, opening a credit card (using personal loan) is one type of loan, leads to unnecessary interest expenses, affects individual credit records, and occupies personal borrowing limits.”

So, do you think it’s advisable to utilize a credit card?
